I'm deputy editor of the Reader, where over the years I've worked in various capacities on features, news and politics, culture and the performing arts, etc etc. From 2005 to 2012 I edited the Reader's Beard Award-winning Food & Drink section. I started as a proofer in 2000, prior to which I was a philosophy professor at Ohio State University.
