54th Annual Ginza Festival

The 54th Annual Ginza Holiday, a Japanese cultural festival, will be presented by the Midwest Buddhist Temple in Old Town, August 7,8, and 9. The festival features Yoko Noge and the Jazz Me Blues Band (Saturday), Japanese cultural exhibits and demonstrations, taiko drumming, Japanese classical and folk dances, and martial arts. As always, MBT's famous chicken teriyaki, sushi, cold udon, BBQ corn and refreshments will be served. In addition, four master craftsmen (Waza) from Tokyo who make limited visits to the U.S. will demonstrate their generations-old skills creating their unique crafts. $4 adults, $3 students and senior citizens Friday, Aug 7, 5:30 pm-9:00 pm; Saturday, Aug 8, 11:30 am -9:30 pm; Sunday, Aug 9, 11:30 am – 6:00 pm.
