When: Mondays, Fridays. Continues through June 21 2021
Free Street Theatre presents the digital premiere of a new play created jointly by the company's north side Pulaski Park ensemble and the south side Storyfront ensemble. The piece, which will be presented live later in the year, looks at "the intersections of immigration, education and incarceration, asking, 'What are the pathways set up for us?,' 'What pipelines do we wish to dismantle?,' and 'If we would create portals to new realities, what would be waiting there for us?'" The plan for the live iteration is to perform the piece on a bus that goes up and down Ashland Avenue, which connects the homes of both ensembles.
