National Louis University To Feature Author Kenneth N. Green

National Louis University’s Lifelong Learning Institute will feature Author/Attorney/Boxer Kenneth N. Green at a Lunch and Learn program from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Monday, April 20. He will be speaking on his book, I’m From Division Street. Signed copies of the book will be available for purchase. The event will take place at National Louis University’s campus in room 464 at 5202 Old Orchard Rd., Skokie, IL 60077. There is no charge to attend. Participant should bring his or her own lunch. To attend this program and for more information, call 224-233-2366 or email I'm From Division Street is a comeback story of how Ken Green rose from poverty, academic problems, and anti-Semitism growing up in Chicago's Humboldt Park neighborhood to success. He is a defense attorney, Retired Chief of Public Defenders in Los Angeles County, a boxer inducted into the California Boxing Hall of Fame, and single parent. He also served in Korea, where he faced anti-Semitism among his fellow soldiers, including fighting for his life. His book also vividly describes the Humboldt Park neighborhood and successful Jewish people from that neighborhood. He is also listed in 'Who's Who In America.” Ken has residences both in the Los Angeles are and in Chicago.
