A Connecticut Yankee in King Arthur's Court

Mark Twain's satire in a not very memorable musical version featuring Bing Crosby, Rhonda Fleming, William Bendix, and Cedric Hardwicke. The director, Tay Garnett, began as a gag writer for Mack Sennett, and some of the more boisterous passages seem to have been made in tribute to his early mentor. Photographed in Technicolor by Ray Rennahan (1949).
