A Day at the Races

The Marx Brothers' second MGM movie (1937) has its moments, but the anarchy of the Paramount period was obviously gone forever. Groucho is a horse doctor treating a hypochondriacal Margaret Dumont, Chico is a racetrack tipster, and Harpo is ineffably Harpo. With Maureen O'Sullivan, Allan Jones, and Sig Ruman; Sam Wood directed.
