A Dickens Carol

When: Fridays-Sundays. Continues through Dec. 29 2019

Ned Crowley's holiday play imagines Charles Dickens surviving an 1842 train derailment at Christmastime (in reality, he and his mistress, Ellen Ternan, survived the 1865 Staplehurst train wreck in Kent), and then being visited by spirits who take him on a Scroogelike journey through his past, present, and future. Kevin Theis directs and returns as Dickens.

Price: Previews 12/5-12/6, $20; regular run 12/7-12/29, $35, $28 seniors, $15 students and children
