A Dozen Things I want to do on stage

When: Sun., Jan. 10, 11:41 p.m. 2010

A Dozen Things I want to do on stage combines 1920's European cabaret with 1970's feminist performance art to make an interactive variety show about power, gender, sexuality, and desire. Of the dozen, Nagle will undress to "Wenn Ich Mir Was Wünschen Dürfte", fit in a small box, tell your secrets, discuss why something is racist, fall in love, read her fantasies, act out your fantasies, induce a tragedy, fall down, take truth serum while letting the audience ask her questions, tell a tall tale, and disembowel herself. Rebecca Nagle is her "own little bundle of contortionist qua experimental performance art qua Weimar cabaret moll qua deconstructionist feminist showgirl joy". -Baltimore City Paper Watch Video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c96LAkgqYmU
