In response to Jim Brown's letter to the editor (November 12), I am submitting this photo taken from my bedroom window. As you can see from the photo, contrary to what Mr. Brown thinks, the telecoms have been erecting antennas (which emit electromagnetic field radiation) on the same horizontal plane as residences. I estimate that "my" antennas are approximately 150-250 feet away from my bedroom wall. In other locations the antennas are even closer to homes and offices than this.

And although, as Mr. Brown says, the beam cannot penetrate a building at 100 percent strength, the beams do penetrate sufficiently in order to provide adequate coverage for cell-phone reception, even inside our homes and offices.
