Apartment: 4 rooms, $740 a month
Location: Lincoln Square
Not pictured: Photo of a Vietnamese toddler, the sole survivor of an assault by the guy's company on a village that had been controlled by the Vietcong. "I spent three days with this kid, made sure that he got to the orphanage. I look at him all the time. I don't know what happened to him."
Lost somewhere: A box containing an 1893 silver dollar given to him by his father ("the date doesn't mean anything--when I was a kid, I thought it was neat") and his grandfather's pocket watch.
In his own words: "I'm a Sinatra fan. No matter what race or religion you were, he'd stand up for you. If it wasn't for him, Sammy Davis Jr. wouldn't have been allowed to walk in the front door of the casinos in Vegas. But Frank said, 'If you don't let him in, I don't play.' So they had to do it."
