Adam & Dave\'s Bloodline with Grammar Debate

When: Fri., Aug. 21, 8 p.m. 2009

Headed up by songwriting duo Adam Garbinski & Dave Petersen, the Philadelphia band skews toward an eclectic rock/pop hybrid in the vein of Guided By Voices or The Kinks. Their new album 'Boycott Classics' (released in June) was recorded by the band over the last year on the 3rd story of a rowhome in North Philadelphia. Garbinski and Petersen met in Philadelphia at a D.I.Y. punk show when they were both 15, and for years worked on noisy 4 track demo tapes together. Their keen sense of melody along with lyrics that range from dark vignettes to poetic psyche ramblings was honed then and on the road touring as members of bands like Marah, Squad Five-0, and Gasoline Heart.
