Adios, Roberto | Chicago Reader

Adios, Roberto

Reportedly the first gay feature produced in Argentina since the junta's demise, it's the comic tale of a man who begins to question his sexual orientation after separating from his wife; his own macho self-image causes him agony, as do the furious objections of church and kin, but finally the beleaguered Roberto must make a choice. With Carlos Andres Calvo and Victor Laplace; the director is Enrique Dawri (1985).
