After Hours at Robie House and the Oriental Institute is a casual event with cocktails and d’oeuvres highlighting two cultural gems in a social setting. Hosted Thursday, August 12 at 6PM guests can wander the magnificent spaces at their leisure. The Oriental Institute showcases the cultural and artistic artifacts that gave birth to modern civilization. Exhibits range from a rare fragment from the Dead Sea Scrolls, to a gigantic statue of King Tutankhamun.
