There's a purgatorial air to this Three Legged Race show about dead people falling in love, but clearly not the sort director Doug Albers had in mind. After a double-fatality car crash, the ghosts of the drivers--yuppie Kevin (Derick Hawksworth) and preening trixie Michelle (Philena Gilmer)--meet cute in a graveyard where middle-class souls apparently congregate to trade schoolyard put-downs. As they bicker over the crash, their repartee has all the romantic frisson of badger baiting. Christa Sablic provides a spark of life as Michelle's ebullient sister Jill. But with the rest of the cast shuffling through Tim Fyalkowski's lifeless story and groan-inducing one-liners, it's not nearly enough to defibrillate this production. --Keith Griffith
