Dear Mr. Adams:
I used to enjoy reading the Straight Dope until I read your explanation of "fan deaths" in Korea [September 12], particularly the last paragraph, "So nice to hear from a guy who knows what he's doing. Maybe someday Koreans will get the same opportunity."
It then became clear to me that the Straight Dope is not a column written by a mature writer of high wit but an outlet of prejudice and bigotry written by an immature, puny excuse for a writer.
So nice to live in a country where publishers that associate with such people lose substantial business. Not to mention our liberties of boycotting and the Internet, where news like this would spread like wildfire unless a public apology is made.
