A Red Orchid Theatre premieres "an experimental audio book" by Brett Neveu, directed by Neil Verma (who also designed the sound) and featuring Foley design by Ele Matelan. A multidiscplinary art piece inspired by the section of the Mississippi flood plain in southern Illinois known as the American Bottom, the story concerns the search for Kevin, who disappears near the Cahokia Mounds, the pre-Columbian Native American city considered to be the largest and most influential of settlement in Mississippian culture. Written in verse, the "found text epic poem" was conceived by Neveu, Verma, Matelan, Matthew Muñiz, Rich Sparks, and Frankie Pedersen.
