Another world of brunch Agenda Recommended

When: Jan. 14-15 2012

In theory, brunch is the perfect meal: you can eat anything, and it provides a socially acceptable reason to start drinking early in the day. In reality, the meal's become so trendy that it no longer inspires much innovation. Leave it to a guy named Pancake to change that: the chefs at Berwyn's Autre Monde, Dan Pancake and Beth Partridge, recently unveiled a tantalizing new brunch menu that drops today. It includes burrata and caviar, fennel sausage gravy with Swiss chard and brioche, and olive oil-fried eggs with speck, plus cocktails and Bridgeport Coffee. —Sam Worley
