Art from the Victorian Age

Kamp Gallery will exhibit “Art from the Victorian Age” from Friday, February 12 through Saturday, March 27, 2010. Portraits, genre scenes, landscapes and cityscapes executed with the flourish, splendor, vividness and romance so closely associated with Victorian era by British artists between 1837 – 1901 will be exhibited. Some artists featured include Herbert Arnould Olivier (1861 – 1953), Frederick William Watts (1800 – 1862) and Frederick Gerald Kinnaird (d. 1881). To compliment the Victorian paintings, we will also exhibit paintings by Continental and American artists, done during the same time period.
