Bahram Beizai's 1986 Iranian feature follows the progress of a ten-year-old boy fleeing southern Iran after his family and house are destroyed in an air raid; he's taken in by a farm woman in the north (played by the film's screenwriter and one of the Iranian cinema's leading actresses, Susan Taslimi). 120 min.
