The restaurant will resuscitate the Gullah custom of eating sea island red peas for good luck in the coming year, offering red pea "cappuccino" with puffed rice and bacon froth as the first course. Other items in the five-course prix fixe are a choice of gumbo, turtle soup, or salad; New York strip, low-country bouillabaisse, or a winter vegetable pot au feu; and bourbon-chocolate beignets or red velvet cake. Wine pairings are available for $30 extra.
