Bill Monroe's Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival

The oldest continuously running bluegrass festival in the world, held on the estate of the "father of bluegrass," with more than 50 acts, including Dr. Ralph Stanley & the Clinch Mountain Boys (6/20), J.D. Crowe & New South (6/18), and the Grascals (6/13). Rent a cabin, drive an RV, or bring a tent.

Price: advance single-day tickets $15-30, advance three-day pass $75, advance eight-day pass $150; prices go up 6/1; cabins and camping extra
