Jump into an ocean of mezcal during Mexico in a Bottle

Many of the bottles aren't even available for sale in the U.S. Some of the producers will be on hand to pour and tell their tales, which goes a long way toward fostering an understanding of how plant species, time, terroir, method, equipment, and tradition all lead to a spirit more varied, complex, and nuanced than whiskey. There will be presentations, including one by Quiote's Jay Schroeder, who'll be discussing "sustainability in the world of agave cultivation and how we need to be thinking about that with cocktail mezcals."
