Bloodlines: A Medical Mission to Iioilo

Filmmakers James Espinas and Timothy Kiley follow a team of Filipino-American doctors and nurses doing a week of philanthropic medical work in the rural Philippines, treating people who have no other access to modern health care. Though inspiring, the film is often tough to watch, as the dispassionate camera does not shy away from massive goiters, severe eye infections, uncorrected harelips, cancers, etc. 50 min.
