Bloody Bathory The Short List (Theater) Recommended Image Closing (Theater and Galleries)

When: Thursdays-Saturdays. Continues through Nov. 16 2019

The 16th-century alleged serial killer Elizabeth Bathory, who was said to torture young girls and then bathe in their blood, forms the basis for this world premiere by Millie Rose (who also plays Bathory), presented by the Barrens Theatre Company. Molly H. Donahue's immersive staging allows the audience to move freely about the space and follow any of the 17 characters. They will then be asked to serve as jury and decide on Bathory's guilt or innocence.

Price: Previews Tue 10/1, Thu-Sat 10/3-10/5, and Thu 10/10, $17; regular run 10/11-11/16 $27
