Broken Arrow

James Stewart turns in his usual fine performance in this otherwise uninteresting 1950 western, which is mainly remembered for launching a wave of revisionism in the genre: the Indians (as played, of course, by whites) are the good guys. Debra Paget is the squaw sacrificed for racial harmony; Jeff Chandler is a Boy's Life Cochise. Directed by Delmer Daves. 93 min.
