Bud Billiken Parade and Picnic Free

The oldest and largest African-American parade in the nation celebrates its 80th anniversary this year. Named after a fictional defender of African-American children, the parade focuses on the betterment of Chicago's youth. Following the parade, a festival in Washington Park will host themed pavilions for women, children, food, and sustainability.
