Cowardly Scarecrow transforms an upstairs room at Chief O'Neill's pub into the Weimar era Kit Kat Klub for this staging of the 1966 musical by John Kander, Fred Ebb, and Joe Masteroff, based on John Van Druten's play I Am a Camera, itself adapted from Christopher Isherwood's Berlin Stories about troubled English chanteuse Sally Bowles and American writer Cliff Bradshaw in 1931 Berlin. The company is using the 1998 staging by Sam Mendes, which added new scenes and songs from both the 1987 revival and the 1972 film.
