Caina, l'isola e il continente

Italian screen idol Maria Jacobini stars in this 1922 silent melodrama about a young Sardinian woman who stows away on a ship bound for the continent, falls in love with the captain, and is then rejected by both his family and her own. Rediscovered in Prague in 1992, the film has been restored and given a new score by Mauro Palmas. Gennaro Righelli directed. 68 min.
