No, it's not magic--it's imagination. Wheelchairs and braces have been no impediment to creativity for the kids in the Chicago Moving Company's summer workshop at Hamlin Park--in fact, these enabling devices made excellent props, spurring new approaches to movement. The result of their six weeks' labor of love can be seen Saturday at 1:45 and 4 on the tent stage at the Magic City Festival, when the company and the workshop participants, ages 7 to 39, perform a work on which all collaborated. The three-day, family-oriented festival takes place Friday through Sunday at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand (see Section Two sidebar). Admission ranges from $3 for a daylong festival pass to $15 for top seats at the Skyline Stage. Call 744-1612 for more information.
