The Peace Museum's current exhibit, a traveling collection of political cartoons originally printed in the Nation magazine over the last 80 years, offers a wide assortment of fat cats, factory smokestacks, rumbling military devices, and crowds of imprisoned refugees. But as you reflect on how quaintly these images depict the political issues of their times, look again--some of this social criticism could sit quite easily on today's political pages. The exhibit was originally scheduled to end Saturday but has been extended through February 6. The Peace Museum, currently among the homeless, has mounted the show at its archive, which is located on the fourth floor at 350 W. Ontario. It's open 11 to 5 Tuesday through Thursday and 11 to 6 Friday and Saturday. Admission is free. Call 440-1860 for more.
