Kathy Weaver's Guns Are Us, Funerary Piece Three comments on our society's destructive obsession with firearms--the homespun medium reminds us of the human cost. Weaver is one of three local artists included in the exhibit "Covering the Cause: Social Commentary in Quilts," which opens with a reception from 5 to 8 next Thursday, February 5, at the Harold Washington Library Center, 400 S. State; Weaver will give a gallery talk at 6. Admission is free. Call 312-747-4875 for more information.
