Before skateboarding, punk rock, and hip-hop were multinational industries, they were glimmers in photographer Glen E. Friedman's eye. He started shooting LA skaters for SkateBoarder magazine in 1976, when he was all of 13, and now has three books and more than 100 album covers under his belt. Photos from his books Fuck You Heroes and Fuck You Too will be on view at an exhibit called "Fuck You All" that opens tonight at Sixspace, 1851 W. Chicago (773-563-0097), with a free reception from 6 to 10. Friedman will sign books and answer questions about his work. The show runs through August 29. --Mario Kladis
