Celtic Fest Chicago Free Soundboard

When: Sept. 13-14, 11 a.m. 2008

The 12th annual Celtic Fest Chicago features live music on two stages and in several tents. Among the fest’s other offerings are the Ceili Dance Tent, the Dance Stage, and a children’s play area with miniature golf, face painting, and musical performances. On Saturday and Sunday from 11 AM till 2:30 PM, there will be a Scottish heavy-athletics competition and a demonstration of proper sheepherding techniques, both in Grant Park’s Butler Field. Festival preview activities include a performance by Errigal at noon on Friday in the Randolph Cafe of the Chicago Cultural Center, and a Celtic harp workshop at 7 PM on Friday at the Irish American Heritage Center, 4626 N. Knox. Only music performances are listed below.
