Chicago Composers Orchestra Winter Concert

Chicago Composers Orchestra presents the second concert in its inaugural season on Friday, January 7 at 7:30 p.m. at Roosevelt University’s Ganz Hall located at 430 S. Michigan Avenue. Dedicated to the performance of orchestral music by living and contemporary composers, Chicago Composers Orchestra has assembled 40 of the city’s finest classical musicians. At the Winter Concert, CCO presents the Midwest premiere of Rome Prize-winner Andrea Clearfield’s “Romanza,” featuring violin soloist Elina Lev (Associate Concertmaster of the Charlotte Symphony), as well as the world premieres of two works by Chicago area composers, and Samuel Barber’s “Adagio for Strings.”
