Chicago Improv Festival Agenda Image

When: Sun., April 7, 8 p.m. 2013

Chicago's ubiquitous sketch-comedy scene tends to make the city into one gigantic, never-ending sketch show, which makes something like the Chicago Improv Festival seem almost superfluous. But the fest brims with such worthwhile comedy that the static of amateur improv practically fades away. The fest wraps up tonight with the Chicago Improv League at ComedySportz (929 W. Belmont) at 8:30 PM and a highlighted performance by the aptly named sketch group Adsit, Lutz, and Cannon, which features former 30 Rock writers Scott Adsit, John Lutz, and Kay Cannon.
