Chicago's Dandy Candy History All Ages

When: Sat., Nov. 13, 10 a.m.-12 p.m. 2010

Jenny Lewis, who leads walking tours that highlight Chicago's candy-making history, gives a talk on the same topic at an event sponsored by Culinary Historians of Chicago. Lewis distributes candy samples while talking about some historical details: the first chocolate enrobing machine at the 1893 Columbian Exposition, the Chicago debut of licorice, and so on.
