Chris & Heather's 16mm Film Jamboree | Chicago Reader

Chris & Heather's 16mm Film Jamboree

Chicago lost two of its more beloved weirdos when cartoonist Heather when cartoonist Heather McAdams and used-record merchant Chris Ligon decamped for Delaware in 2001, calling a halt to their regular programs of music and offbeat 16-millimeter films. This one-night stand features a representative menu of cartoons, stripper films, trailers for trashy movies, and music clips (Ricky Nelson, Johnny Cash, and Count Basie). The live music component includes Kelly Hogan, Robbie Fulks, and Ligon, performing with his brother, Scott.
