This British schlocker (1960), considered by some to be a classic of its particularly loathsome kind, stars Anton Diffring as the insidious Dr. Goethe, who tries out his plastic-surgery techniques on a host of scarred but otherwise beautiful women held captive in the circus of the title. Werry, werry Sadean stuff, eh Herr Doktor? With Erika Remberg, Yvonne Monlaur, and Donald Pleasence; directed by Sidney Hayers. 92 min.
