Nothing to see here, keep moving. Bruce Willis and Tracy Morgan are New York cops whose commander relieves them of their guns and badges after their clumsy pursuit of a Mexican drug lord erupts into a neighborhood shootout. They spend the rest of the story waving around their guns and badges, but this is the sort of movie so formulaic that even continuity errors seem refreshing. Director Kevin Smith adds a patina of his idiosyncratic character comedy to a script by TV drudges Robb and Mark Cullen (Heist, Las Vegas), but to no avail. If this ever turns up as an in-flight movie, Smith should have to watch it twice. With Kevin Pollak and Adam Brody. R.
