Crisis (A Musical Game Show) Recommended Member Picks The Short List (Theater) Closing (Theater and Galleries)

When: Thursdays-Saturdays. Continues through June 5 2010

Now that we've all learned that the geniuses in charge of the financial industry haven't a fucking clue what they're doing, what better time to explore the notion of business as a game of chance? Not all the connections come together in this intensively interactive piece (devised and hosted by John Pierson, Dan Kerr-Hobert, and Clifton Frei) where winning means getting to the top of the corporate heap. But from the Scantron test that determines the initial team of audience players to the increasingly ridiculous challenges, Crisis provides a goony snapshot of the random factors that culminate in success. At least one player walks off with real, sho 'nuff cash money, instead of bundled derivatives. --Kerry Reid
