Daddy Dearest

I was astonished more than I can say that you printed a letter from Neil Elliott in which he claimed that I was doing dope and alcohol when I was 14 and that my father is "incredibly good-looking" [Our Town, March 26; Letters, April 2]. In actual fact I'm pretty sure that I was 13, and he's only average, as anybody will see immediately if they go to see his brilliant one-man play, Jesus Tonight, at the Performance Loft theater.

Also, this guy Elliott makes fun of the fact that I had to suffer a crew cut on at least two occasions when I was a child. Let him try it sometime! So there!

Sic semper tearanus!
