To the editors:

I and the 150 members of our local chapter of Lutherans for Life do not agree or appreciate your Sept. 15 (Vol 18, No. 51) issue of Reader ["Abortion 1990"].

We do believe that life is precious from conception. We believe in the sanctity of life. We do not believe that humans have the right to take the life of other human beings. We do believe society will be judged by how it treats its poor & outcasts. Surely the unborn are the most poor & outcast.

You do not speak for us or decent values or Christianity.
