Yoga is more than just a way to stretch, strengthen and relax your body. The ancient teachings of yoga describe a system of action and a way of understanding the deeper aspects of ourselves in order to live more joyfully in our bodies and more peacefully in our minds. This workshop will give a basic introduction to the ancient teachings of yoga as they relate to our mental and emotional health. Through asana (yoga poses), breathwork and guided meditation, we will also explore how the body and mind work together to create harmony.
