Department of Exceedingly Poor Taste

Editor:

We haven't lost our sense of humor, but we hope that the Reader hasn't lost its sense of decency. The mock Yellow Pages illustration of alleged Nazi murderer Jonathan Haynes (1993 "Year in Review") was in exceedingly poor taste. We found nothing to laugh about where Haynes was concerned. And we doubt Dr. Martin Sullivan's family, friends, professional colleagues or patients saw anything redeeming in this senseless tragedy of hatred.
