To the editors:

In response to your brief review of Fellini's La Strada in the July 14th edition of the Reader, under Reader's Guide to the Silver Screen: there is a lot more to La Strada than mush and weak allegory. More careful consideration on your part might provide you with a more informed perspective on what I consider to be an excellent film on a multitude of levels. Thank you for your consideration.
