Updated May 20, 2020

Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, the Reader will be publishing biweekly with a reduced print run at fewer locations, and on alternating weeks we will have a very limited print run for subscribers only.

You can order a 12-week print subscription mailed to your home, so you don’t miss an issue. (U.S. residents only.)

Full-year subscriptions are also available.

Our May 21 issue will not be distributed to locations.

Our May 21 issue is available as a PDF.

You can read PDFs of all print issues of the Reader on our website.

Please consider donating.

For the May 28 and June 11 issues we will do full box runs (distribution primarily to locations with icons labeled "RDR BOX" and "MOD BOX" icons on this map).

Issues are available for download as PDFs at chicagoreader.com/issues Wednesday each week.

Thank you,
The Reader team

Issues are dated Thursday. Distribution happens Wednesday midday through Thursday nights 51 weeks per year. (Typically there is no issue the first Thursday in January.)

Print issues are also always available online as PDF downloads.
