Duke of Uke and His Novelty Orchesta with the Barehand Jugband

When: Sat., Sept. 11, 9 p.m. 2010

The Duke of Uke and His Novelty Orchestra will deliver energetic and hopelessly romantic ukulele merriment on Sat. Sept. 11th at Quenchers Saloon. Join us for a rattling time beginning with the sultry and old-timey Barehand Jugbang at 10:00pm. The Duke of Uke and His Novelty Orchestra is a 7-piece band that puts ukulele (Dave King), tuba (Lorene Anderson), tenor saxophone (Anna Hochhalter), violin and alto saxophone (Claire Cannon), bass guitar (Sarah Cramer), drums (Rebecca Burlingame), percussion (David Garcia), and 4-part vocals together to bring lush harmonies, witty lyrics, and a little bit of funk.
