Earth: TTFN?! Or Will the Developer From Planet Sildenia Destroy Earth, Calling It a Blight on the Intergalactic Neighborhood? Closing (Theater and Galleries) The Short List (Theater)

When: Wednesdays-Sundays. Continues through Aug. 9 2009

You're warned at the start: "the more you put in" to this sci-fi comedy from WWS Productions, "the more you get out." And it's true. This is a show that needs not only your participation, but also your generous indulgence if it's going to work at all. Earth TTFN?! ("tata for now") punctuates the tale of an intergalactic real estate development scheme involving the demolition of Earth with questions pitched directly at the audience. The basic idea is to create the flavor of a jolly improv show in the context of a more or less scripted satire. With jokes that hover at the level of naming characters Levitra and Cialis, and social commentary that runs to equating Rush Limbaugh with Jabba the Hut, it takes serious audience effort to save Earth. --Tony Adler
