Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago Autism Radiothon

Easter Seals Metropolitan Chicago will team up with The Big 89, WLS-AM Radio to host a radio-thon on Friday, December 18th, to raise money and awareness for children with autism. Award-winning host Pat Cassidy will emcee the event live from the Hotel InterContinental Starbucks store located at 505 N. Michigan Avenue from 5am – 6pm. The radio-thon will feature interviews with local TV, sports and political celebrities, including Actor Joe Mantegna, Chicago White Sox Manager Ozzie Guillen and others. In addition, The Big 89, WLS-AM will air features about autism, interviews with ESMC families and offer facts about autism throughout the day. Listeners are encouraged to make their pledges by calling 1-866-448-2372 or by visiting the Big 89, WLS-AM Web site at www.wlsam.com. Local shoppers may also stop by the Hotel InterContinental Starbucks where volunteer operators will be on hand to accept their contributions.
