Edmund Chia: Behaviour

When: Sun., July 11, 3 p.m. 2010

In ADDS DONNA’s inaugural show, Behaviour, Edmund Chia initiates a conduct modeled on shifts, moments, and pause. Here noun and verb meet sharing a capacity to infinitely reverberate. The works live in the studio, become constellations, and form their present display celebrating the new, while simultaneously commemorating the past. Chia produces what one could call icons, functioning as malleable declarations set on stage and in scene. The consonance between mode and means sharpens behavior to re-route while en route. The exhibition on view has enveloped a matured condition, opting to hum rather than land.
